Forks of the River Taproom

Forks of the River Taproom Your destination place for local craft beer on tap and a variety of beer, wine, cider, and more. We are here because of the water and so is the beer.

The Forks of the River, a local name for our location, is a taproom that not only celebrates the birthplace of the French Broad River but also the quality of water we all enjoy. We dedicate 5 taps to our breweries with-in our watershed that makes beer from these pristine mountain waters.

Countdown ’til Sunday! Ladies Happy Day is almost here. Come one, come all! 🙌🏻💕

Time to go through that closet one night this week and pull out the stuff you’re ready to part with. Bring it to the clothing swap, grab a mimosa or prosecco on tap, and let Local Harvester handle the food.

Good music, good people, new-to-you clothes, drinks in hand. Let’s go, ladies!

It’s Joanne’s birthday!

Our Miller Lite-sipping, Jimmy Buffett-loving, beach-dreaming, Philadelphia Eagles-cheering, Forks community-loving Joanne. She’s got one of the biggest hearts around and is always there for the people, the place, and the community she loves.

We’re lucky to have her in the Forks family. Help us wish Joanne a very happy birthday! Cheers to another trip around the sun, Joanne!

THE STEINS ARE READY. Now we need to see who’s worthy of them.

Our Pirate Day Costume Contest is happening Saturday at 3 PM, and this year there’s some serious b***y on the line. We’ve got custom glass steins for 1st Place Male and 1st Place Female, plus prizes for 2nd and 3rd place. And because a beautiful pirate stein should never sit empty, our two first-place winners will also get FREE B**R to fill it up with.

So if you’ve been waiting for an excuse to go completely overboard with the pirate costume… this is it. Eye patches, captains, buccaneers, sea witches, questionable pirate accents, ridiculous hats — bring your best. You’re going to be judged by the people at the party, so make yourself memorable. The goal is to look good enough that the crowd wants to hand you one of these steins.

And we’ve got plenty to drink while you plot your rise to pirate royalty. We’ll have Dogfish Head SeaQuench Ale on draft and in 6-packs — a crisp, tart, super-refreshing session sour brewed with lime, black limes and sea salt. Also joining the crew is Monday Night Brewing’s Blind Pirate, a juicy 7.4% blood orange IPA with big citrus character. Both will be available on draft and in 6-packs.

Plus, we’ve got the official Party Like a Pirate koozees for keeping your b**r properly dressed for the occasion.

Saturday at 3 PM: costume contest + live music + llamas + LIVE MERMAIDS + a taproom full of pirates trying to win some seriously good prizes.

Start planning your costume now. We want to see you go all in.

Who’s taking home the stein?
