Hi Masa family ❤️
We want to share something from the heart.
This week, Ashlie was diagnosed with leukemia and has started chemotherapy. Our world shifted pretty quickly, and right now our focus is on her health, our family, and taking things one day at a time.
If you’ve been around the shop, you already know Annie—and if you know Annie, you love Annie. She’s been such a big part of what makes this place feel the way it does. The care, the energy, the way we treat people… that’s her, too.
We’re so grateful that she’s stepping up to lead the restaurant during this time. There’s truly no one we trust more.
And she’s not doing it alone. Luis, Ben, and Noelle—our incredible managers—are all stepping up in a big way right now. This team is the heart of this place, and we feel so lucky to have them leading with the same love and intention that means so much to us.
And of course, Chef Sev is still behind it all—the same chef you know and love. He’s been doing what we’ve been doing for the past two years, and that’s not changing. The food, the care, the intention—it’s all still here.
We might ask for a little extra grace as we navigate this season, but please know this: we still care deeply about every taco, every interaction, and every person who walks through our doors. That will never change.
If you have a great experience, we’d love for you to share it or send Ashlie a message—it really does lift her up.
And if something’s not right, please reach out. We’re here, we’re listening, and we’ll always do our best to make it right.
Thank you for loving us, supporting us, and being part of this family. It means everything. ❤️
