🧡 September is Hunger Action Month!
Hunger Action Month, launched in 2007 by the Feeding America network of food banks, is a national campaign held every September to raise awareness and inspire action to end hunger in America.
Throughout the month, we'll be sharing simple ways you can take action to support neighbors experiencing food insecurity right here inRoselle, Bloomingdale, and Medinah.
🧡 One way to start? Wear orange.
Orange is the official color of Hunger Action Month, and throughout September, people across the country will be wearing orange to raise awareness about hunger in their communities.
We'd love to see our community turn orange, too!
Wear an orange shirt. Add an orange ribbon. Get your coworkers involved. Snap a photo and share it.
Because hunger may not always be visible—but together, we can make sure it isn't overlooked.
🧡 Wear orange. Take action. Help fight hunger right here at home.
If you're wearing orange for Hunger Action Month, post a photo and tag the Roselle Community Food Pantry. We'd love to share it and show just how much our community cares.
And stay tuned throughout September. We'll be sharing more ways you can make a difference for neighbors facing hunger.
