There’s no excuse this week for my late post. And I’m only going to beat the new bride (Izzy) by a couple hours. We have music tonight with Erik and Cristina starting at 5:30 and a couple great specials to wrap up this toasty late spring week..

Hatch Attack! Beef bacon, spicy hatch Chiles, smoked provolone, Roma tomatoes, whole milk mozzarella, feta, Parmesan reggiano on our house red sauce..

Pineapple! Heart of palm, fresh jalapeños, pineapple, red onions, whole milk mozzarella, feta, Parmesan reggiano on a house made teriyaki base topped with fresh basil.

Peace and soul and back to a little order.

I truly am looking forward to this month… Izzy’s and Matthew’s wedding will finally be here, Bob and Erik will alternate playing on the outside patios on Thursdays and we have a tap takeover from Pelican brewing, and possibly our first music show on the Outback stage for Allyssa’s birthday on June 26. That’s enough to keep this elder statesman hopping. Plus the specials just keep getting better. Here’s what’s on tap this week..

Crazy 8.. meatballs, black olives, mushrooms, whole milk mozzarella, feta on our house vodka sauce topped with shaved Parmesan and fresh basil..

Yongbok.. fried chickpeas, red onions, mama lils peppers, whole milk mozzarella, feta on our house bbq sauce topped with fresh cilantro.

Not sure if a lot of you have been following Old Soul Pizza Two (aka OS2), but our miss Isabel is counting down the days to her wedding day. I think she may be getting a little wound up so if you want to stop by or send a note, she would probably get all gushy and even more distracted (if that’s possible).

As far as our downtown location we keep pretty even keeled. Join us Thursday for music with Erik Schnautz and enjoy more mouth watering specials all week long.

Domin8…prosciutto, dates, pickled jalapenos, Brie cheese, whole milk mozzarella, broccoli rabe on our house white sauce topped with a honey drizzle.

Houdini.. Mac n cheese, broccoli, mushrooms, white onions, mama lils on an olive oil base topped with panko.

Woohoo! It’s a week to be overly excited. Not only is the Outback stage coming together but we have two ambitious specials that are sure to please. After a couple years of fundraising and going through the permitting process, Umpqua Watersheds, has begun building what will be a great addition to the downtown music community.

And this weeks specials are some new creations that I’m sure will impress..

La Vita.. pepperoni, salami, ham, roasted red peppers, olives, whole milk mozzarella, feta, Parmesan on an olive oil base topped with Italian salad and a special grinder sauce.

Fairytale.. mushroom medley, roasted garlic, Roma tomatoes, smoked Gouda, cracked black pepper on a truffle olive oil base topped with fresh mint.

It’s all about thoughts of summer activities and garden freshness with this weeks specials.

And to top it off we have music with Erik and Cristina on Thursday. Plus, if you get the chance, walk around to the back parking lot and check on the progress of the Outback stage. There will definitely be music happening this summer!

Placebo.. sun dried tomatoes, red onions, mushrooms, roasted garlic, artichokes, goat cheese on our house white sauce topped with fresh spinach.

Here we go again getting comfortable with these gorgeous spring days. It will be perfect for our Thursday music treat with Bob and Michelle Hall scheduled to entertain us from 5:30-7:30 and some extra special pizzas on this weeks menu.

What a beautiful way to start our work week. I’m sitting at the picnic tables at Old Soul Two and enjoying conversations with some wonderful customers. So I’m also taking the couple minutes to soak up the sun and post our downtown specials. Here’s what we came up with for our weekly creations..

WOW.. smoked garlic herb beef, sautéed bell peppers and onions, fresh mushrooms, whole milk mozzarella, feta, smoked Gouda on our house white sauce topped with a blended Italian seasoning.

I know, you know.. corn medley, cherry tomatoes, pickled jalapeños, black olives, whole milk mozzarella, feta on a refried bean base topped with cilantro lime sour cream drizzle and crumbled tortilla chips.
