Jessica’s Update ❤️

We know so many of you have been wondering how things are going, so we wanted to share a little update!

There has been a lot happening behind the scenes. We’ve been working through the planning, drawings and approval process for the rebuild, while also making lots of decisions for a refreshed and revamped Jessica’s.

It’s taking a little longer than we originally hoped, but we’re making progress and getting closer to the exciting part of bringing everything back to life!

We still don’t have an official reopening date to share just yet, but we promise we’ll keep you updated as we move forward.

Thank you for continuing to check in, send messages and ask about us. We truly appreciate all the love and support. We miss seeing all of you and can’t wait for the day we get to open those doors again. ❤️

Missing home a little extra today ❤️

For the past 40 years, Jessica’s has been more than just a restaurant, it’s been a second home filled with familiar faces, conversations, celebrations, and memories.

We miss our staff, our customers, and the feeling of seeing everyone together every day. While we continue working toward reopening, we’ve been thinking a lot about all the memories made here over the years.

At this time, we still do not have a timeline for reopening, but we remain hopeful and appreciate everyone’s continued support, patience, and love during this time.

As our 40th anniversary approaches, we’ve decided to wait and celebrate this milestone when we are able to reopen and welcome everyone back together again.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing mothers and families in our community. ❤️

This year was especially difficult for us, as we remained closed while recovering from the kitchen fire. For the first time in 40 years, we were unable to celebrate this special day with our customers, and we truly missed being part of your family traditions and gatherings.

We are incredibly grateful for all the love, support, and patience you’ve shown us during this challenging time. Your kindness and encouragement have meant so much to our family and team, and we look forward to welcoming you back soon.

We’re heartbroken to share that our restaurant experienced a kitchen fire right after closing last night.

Thankfully, everyone is safe.

We are devastated. Jessica’s isn’t just a building, but decades of memories, of regulars who became family, and of employees who have given years, and in some cases their entire careers, to this place. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers as we figure out what comes next. This is their livelihood too.

For now, we will be closed until further notice. But we will be back. When Jack and Betty founded Jessica’s in 1986, they built more than a restaurant. They built something meant to last. Forty years later, that same family is still here, now into its third generation, and we are not about to let that story end with a fire.

June 1st is our 40th anniversary, and we will be celebrating it with this community. Mark your calendars.

This place belongs to all of us. Thank you for your patience, your love, and your support. We can’t wait to see you again. ❤️
