Dear Cole’s community, I am writing to let you know that Cole’s Bakery & Cafe is losing its lease at the end of the year.

Unfortunately we may need to close if a new location isn’t found.

Re: a new location: after searching for some time, relocating doesn’t look very promising.

Re: our current location: our landlord will use the entire building for his own business. We can’t remain in the space.

Since we are unable to remain in our current location, we plan to sell Cole’s.

We hope to find an ambitious, passionate individual who would love to carry Cole’s forward and continue what has been a staple for Spokane for many years.

Thursday night, sitting in my garage with a cigarette in hand. Bad habit, i know it.
Four young men suddenly appeared They Wanted My Car They hit me with a beating, demanding my keys.
I told them they were in the house.
So they decided to come in.

What they weren't expecting... these were my two pit bulls weighed 36 pounds each.
Two creams, two sweet souls, the nicest dogs you could ever imagine.
But when it comes to protecting their home and their human, they become appalling with precision.

My beautiful companions broke in, stood up to the intruders and stayed by my side, standing above me as I lay on the garage floor...
Silent Watchers, Faithful Watchmen.
They kept me safe
They saved me.

These are hoarded dogs. Dogs that no one wanted.
And yet, that night, they offered me the most precious of second chances.

Adopt a shelter animal.
One day, he might be the one to save your life.
