🍫 Today’s sweet favorite: Whoopie Pies.

Few treats are more closely associated with Lancaster County than the Whoopie Pie. Many believe Pennsylvania Dutch bakers created them as a special surprise for family lunches and desserts.

Fun fact: Legend says children would shout “Whoopie!” when they found one packed in their lunch.

Enjoy this iconic Pennsylvania treat on our smorgasbord when available. You can always find our house-made whoopie pies next door at Locally Made Food Shop in a variety of flavors, including Chocolate Vanilla, Double Chocolate, Red Velvet, Shoofly, and seasonal favorites. 🇺🇸🍫

Enjoy a Horse Wash & Care Demo with Aaron & Jessica’s Buggy Rides, a Carriage & Buggy Safety Talk, a Blacksmith Demo featuring horseshoes being put on a horse, Chalk Talk “Faces & Trades of 1776” at the Amish Experience Theater led by Mennonite artist Elva Hurst, soy candle making with Amish Maide Candles for a small fee, a kids scavenger hunt, yard games, food sampling, and so much more! 🐴🔥🕯️🎨

Buggy rides and Amish House tours will also be available for purchase while you are on property.
