Ever wonder what Miller’s first menu looked like? 👀🍽️

Long before the smorgasbord, Miller’s Restaurant offered menus in both English and Pennsylvania Dutch. Some favorites are still part of the Miller’s experience today—including chicken and waffles, chicken corn soup, waffles with ice cream, and, of course, fried chicken! 🍗🧇🍨

Back then, chicken and waffles cost just 75 cents, while a few other menu items have since been retired. Take a look back at where nearly 100 years of Lancaster County tradition began!

Join us August 15 from 11 AM–3 PM for a day packed with music, animals, artisans, history and hands-on fun! 🎶🐴🔨🌾

See traditional skills in action during blacksmithing, horseshoeing and hoof-trimming demonstrations. Learn how the horses are cared for during horse-washing and horse-care demonstrations, and hear helpful carriage and buggy safety tips from Aaron & Jessica’s Buggy Rides. 🐎🛞

Shop from local artisan vendors, create a soy candle with Amish Maide Candles, make a compostable newspaper pot and meet local makers from throughout Lancaster County. 🕯️🌱🛍️

Kids can search for hidden barn stars and play 1776 yard games, while adults complete a passport activity for a small gift. Add live music, Taste of ’76 food sampling and face painting for an additional fee, and you have the perfect Saturday adventure! ⭐🎨🍴
