It's finally here... I get to make my son's graduation cake! ❤️🎓

He couldn't decide on just one flavor, so we're going with a tiered cake this week! ❤️🖤🤍

Chocolate espresso cake with brownie mousse filling and black cocoa buttercream.
and Vanilla bean cake with fresh berry compote made from berries right out of my garden (definitely not using store-bought berries with whatever bug is going around Michigan right now!) and vanilla bean buttercream.

But before all the planning this week, I enjoyed my morning coffee out in my little garden grotto while watching all my employees running around. 😊🐔🌿

How I test new flavors I’ve never combined before 😁

We have a fun horror themed cake this week, and the customer wanted a Chocolate Caramel Cake with Strawberries 🍓. I've never combined those flavors before, and I had to pair them with a black cocoa buttercream 🤔

Yes, it was good! 😍 We are moving forward with the cake flavor!

I have had so many orders for Monsters Inc., Toy Story, and Lion King cakes lately! 💙💚🦁

I asked my 25-year-old son yesterday morning,
Why is everyone doing these themes right now? He said because the new parents are my age now. That's what we grew up watching.😲

Nothing like feeling old before I've even had my coffee! 🤦‍♀️😂

It has been a Cookie Butter Cake explosion around here for the last few weeks! 😊

Everywhere I turn, it's some version of my Cookie Butter flavor, and I am definitely not complaining! ❤️

Because things have been so busy, I'm limiting the number of orders I take through July to make sure every cake gets the attention it deserves. Thank you all for keeping me so busy even with my limited availability 🫶
