Meet Allyson, our Front of House Manager at Andiamo Rome. Since joining Honeymoon Bakery in 2024, she's been a valued part of our team, and we're thrilled to see her take this next step in her journey with Collective Hospitality.
Q: Where were you born?
A: Oceano, California. A small farming town on the coast between Los Angeles and San Francisco.
Q: Favorite sweet treat?
A: Trader Joe’s has these teeny tiny gummy bears that are absolutely perfect and I am not exaggerating at all.
Q: What's your go-to karaoke song or hype song?
A: Karaoke: “I Hate Myself For Loving You” by Joan Jett & The Blackhearts. Hype: “Firework” by Katy Perry (don’t judge, it totally works)
Q: What’s your favorite holiday or seasonal tradition?
A: Watching Hallmark Christmas movies!! And now that I live in Georgia, we go to Dahlonega at Christmas to see how adorable the town looks and to live a little of that movie magic.
Q: If someone’s visiting for the first time, what should they definitely try at Andiamo?
A: A mushroom pizza with sun-dried tomatoes or a white pizza with castelvetrano olives. And they should definitely try our gluten-free crust!
Q: Where did you work before Andiamo, and what was your position?
A: I started in retail at Honeymoon Bakery and then moved to the back to be a cake decorator. If you got a Grinch cake last Christmas there is a good chance I decorated it!
Q: What part of the hospitality industry do you enjoy most?
A: People come to us to celebrate, to catch up with old friends, and to feel better after a rough day. It is an honor to be a part of their story and to do whatever I can to make them leave feeling better than when they came in.
