We finished up our season last night at Sylvan Cellars and I want to thank everyone who came out. We are closing a little early this season because we are upgrading to a 36ft trailer in a week and will need time to get it up and the vinyl on it. Next season we will operate through October, but this season is being cut short for upgrades. Next year you will see a much bigger trailer, new ovens and more pizza creations.

Remember next season we are going to be donating $0.50 to a fund that I will use to help veterans within our own communities, more to come on how the donations will be utilized. That has been my goal from the beginning and hopefully after next year I can raise it a little bit.

As the food truck season comes to an end, I wanted to sit back and thank you for making the first season a memorable one. We have been invited to concerts, city celebrations, car shows and weddings. Next season we will have a bigger and better trailer, and we look forward to being out in the community again. The season wraps up with a concert at Sylvan Cellars next weekend! If you’re out there for that wonderful event, stop in and say hello. We will reopen in April of 2027, so if you have events planned or are in the planning stages, please consider Hustler Six Pizza Company.

We have a big change coming next year. As most of you know, I am a retired veteran, and if you know the story behind the name of the trailer, you know it means a lot to me. Next season, I will be donating $0.50 from every pizza sold, that money will be set aside and will be used to ensure some of the veterans in our community have the basic needs, and any leftovers will be donated to a fund that benefits wounded warriors and their families. The fund that gets donated too will be different each year. I know that $0.50 isn’t going to change the world, but it might be able to change if aveteran showers or has a bed to sleep on and that’s what matters most. Thank you for your support and I look forward to seeing you all!

This afternoon I made the decision that based on the rain projected later this evening, we would not be able to operate at the Avilla block party. There is a chance that it doesn’t rain as the day has moved forward, but this early in the business’s operation, I am not prepared to operate in the rain with my ovens cords and generator being outside. We are planning on having this fixed by next season with the new trailer, so I want to apologize if you were looking forward to a good pizza tonight. We will be in Rome City next Saturday at the VFW, so we hope to catch you then!
