🦋On Saturday, June 20, 2026, this beautiful soul will be laid to rest here in Rogersville, AL.
To honor the impact she had on our community, we want to invite all of our friends to join us in packing Lee Street to show an outpouring of love to her family.

Her funeral service will be held at The First Baptist Church of Rogersville at 11am and she will be laid to rest in Oliver-Bedingfield Cemetery, across from the Rogersville Methodist Church.

If y'all could arrive around 11:30, that should be plenty of time for everyone to grab a spot. Please, come join us to show this family a small piece of support.

Today, the Mama Shelby’s Pizza family joins our community in mourning the loss of Rachael Weir, lovingly known as “RayRay.”

Though her time on earth was far too short, Rachael’s life touched the hearts of so many. Her courage, strength, and beautiful spirit were an inspiration to everyone who knew her. While we grieve the pain of her passing, we find comfort in God’s promises and rejoice in knowing that she is now healed, whole, and resting in the loving arms of Jesus.

The Bible reminds us in John 14:2-3, “In my Father’s house are many mansions… I go to prepare a place for you.” Today, we trust that RayRay has entered that glorious place prepared for her, free from pain, sickness, and suffering.

Please join us in praying for Rachael’s family, friends, and all who loved her during this difficult time. May God’s peace, comfort, and strength surround them in the days ahead.

Fly high, sweet RayRay. Your fight is over, your healing is complete, and your heavenly home awaits. Until we meet again, you will never be forgotten.

Monday we will re-open 4-8 and Tuesday we will only be open 10:30-4! We appreciate everyone’s patience tonight, we sold out of a lot of our homemade pizza dough items and sizes!

Please pray for RayRay and her family. Lord give them the strength and comfort they need.

Last night and today have been absolutely terrifying.

Rachael is currently on the highest BiPAP settings possible and is barely maintaining enough oxygen to support her body and organs. Unfortunately, intubation is not an option because her little body is simply too weak.

Ashley and I took the night shift so Daddy could get some much-needed rest. Throughout the night, we worked nonstop helping Rachael get to the potty, suctioning her when she would choke on mucus, repositioning her, and doing everything we could to keep her oxygen levels from crashing.

We had a few very scary moments when Rachael tried to cough up mucus while wearing a machine that is actively pushing air back into her lungs. At one point, her oxygen levels dropped into the high 60s. Thanks to the quick actions of the ICU nurses and immediate suctioning and replacement of the BiPAP mask, we were able to get her stabilized again.

The day started with a difficult report from the medical team that there has been no respiratory improvement, which was heartbreaking to hear. On top of that, a line infection has placed us in isolation, limiting our ability to use common areas and adding another challenge to an already difficult situation.

This evening, after receiving platelets, Rachael developed a fever. Her oxygen saturations dropped, and her heart rate climbed very high, creating even more concern. Right now, we are living minute by minute and hour by hour.

Despite everything being thrown at her, our sweet girl is still hanging tough. She continues to show a strength that amazes us every single day.

We are in an incredibly vulnerable place right now and desperately need your prayers. Please pray for Rachael’s lungs, for her oxygen levels to improve, for her fever to resolve, for wisdom for her medical team, and for strength for our family as we walk through this impossible season.

Thank you for continuing to lift our precious girl up in prayer. We believe every prayer matters.
