As most of you know, The Captain’s Seat will not be returning to Prairie Creek Marina.

We could go into the gritty details but it honestly wouldn’t change anything. We have enjoyed our time being part of this lake community. Some may have not agreed with our approach but we always ran our business with honesty and transparency. Something we feel like was not given to us in return by the new owners of PCM.

Good luck to the new occupants of the space and at the end of the day, we’re all just trying to make a living. If you’re ever in the downtown Bentonville area and have a hankering for good burgers and cold beer, come see us at our other locations, The First Seat and Barley & Vine.

Thank you for the support over the past three years, Beaver Lake. Take care of yourselves and take care of each other.

Friday, 8/29, 11am-9pm
Saturday, 8/30 8am-9pm
Sunday, 8/31 8am-8pm
Monday, 9/1 8am-4pm

When you have a seasonal business, it’s hard to get continuity in your staff. Tanner came to us after his sophomore year in high school and has spent 3 summers with us. He was impressive that first summer and we’ve loved watching him grow into the young man he is now as he embarks on his journey to college.

Today is his last day and we wish him the very best on his next chapter. Give him some love Prairie Creek!

Our propane issue is resolved and we will be back to normal operating hours today (7/17). We are looking forward to feeding you!

For those who asked if all was ok, please send healing thoughts and prayers to our propane delivery driver who had to have emergency triple bypass surgery.

Sure, we don’t like having to adjust our hours on the fly and miss out on serving our customers. But we like to live our lives with compassion and grace, so thanks to all who extended it to us.

What a beautiful day to celebrate America! From the number of folks coming down the dock this morning, you all agree! 🧨 🇺🇸

Giving notice that we will close early at 4:00pm today so that our staff can enjoy the holiday with their families as well.

We will reopen for breakfast service tomorrow at 8:00am. 🍳 🥓 ☕️

This holiday week, we will be serving a smorgasbord style breakfast with all the delicious things you need to fill your belly before a day on the lake.

We will also have a red, white and blue yogurt parfait available for purchase separately if you’re wanting something a little lighter.

Open for breakfast this week Thurs-Sun 8:30-11:00am and then switch to lunch service at 11:00am.
