A message from Roebuck Fish Camp-

We wanted to update you on the reason for closing on the weekend of October 1st, 2nd & 3rd.

We desired to be at the bedside of David’s mom (Carole’s mother-in-law) as she died. On October 1st at 8:18pm she took her final breath. It was a great comfort to have had this time with her, so we thank you for your concern, understanding and your patience as we undertook this most difficult task. She was a loving, kind, gentle sweet and generous woman and we will miss her greatly.

We will return to business as usual-tonight Thursday October 8th at 4:00pm. We will continue doing take out only for a while longer. We wanted to address the reasons why, when many restrictions have been lifted.
Here are the main ones-

1. the dining room is completely scrambled as we are preparing it to be painted by taking wallpaper down which is only one quarter complete at this time.
We need some time to get this finished.

2. Carole had back surgery and has not been fully released yet to return to the rapid pace necessary to keep up with dine in and take out at the same time.
Hoping that happens soon so life can return to normal.

3. High school graduation took place while the pandemic was in full swing and caused us to lose some employees as they moved on to college and full-time jobs. There was no need to replace them with the existing restrictions on service so we will need to hire and train some new people.

We would appreciate your patience and understanding as we try to work these issues out. We know our customers and friends are the very best and we look forward to seeing you face to face in the future! We have missed you!

Thanks for your patronage and for being faithful through these crazy times! You truly are the best!
