We want to give you an authentic coffeehouse experience starting, of course, with superbly good coffee. Come in and sit a while in our comfortable club chairs, or relax at a table, and either way enjoy the free WIFI. We serve a small panini and wrap menu, as well as baked goods, and Kiwi-Cakes cupcakes. Brewed coffee and genuine espresso drinks feature Floyd's own, Red Rooster Coffee. Local tea, smoothies, and hot chocolate available as well. We have an underlying mission to support adoption by helping local families through fundraisers and other means.

Our Chocolate Hummus with green apples is officially a staple around here, and we’ve added a seasonal friend for fall…

🎃 Pumpkin Hummus with cinnamon sugar pretzels

Both hummus flavors are gluten-free, sweet enough to feel like a treat, and they can also be substituted for chips with any of our paninis or wraps if you’re in the mood to switch up your side.

Chocolate is staying with us, but pumpkin is only here for the season, so come enjoy it while fall is hanging around. 🍂

A little change of plans for tomorrow, friends. 🤎

Whole Bean will be closed Saturday, Sept 26th.

Sometimes owning a small business means knowing when to open the doors, and sometimes it means knowing when something important is worth closing them for.

Tomorrow is one of those days.

I’m incredibly thankful for the women who work alongside me, serve this community so well, and have become such an important part of what makes Whole Bean feel like Whole Bean. Tomorrow, I’m choosing to pour into them a little differently.

So the coffee will wait until Monday. ☕️

Thank you for giving us the grace to occasionally make room for the things that matter beyond the counter. I never take for granted that this community allows us to be more than simply a place that serves coffee.

We get to serve people first and foremost!

And sometimes serving people looks a little different. 🤎

Some days, the little reasons are easier to spot than others.

A good song.
A laugh from across the room.
Two people dancing when they probably should be working. 😂
A familiar face walking through the door.
A cup of coffee made just the way you like it.

Maybe loving this precious life a little more doesn’t always come from the big moments. Maybe it’s learning to notice the small ones while they’re happening.

And around here, we’re lucky enough to catch quite a few of them. 🤎☕️

From proofing, to baking, to finally hitting the counter… Yaren’s Oreo Cinnamon Rolls didn’t last long.

We took a picture as soon as we put them out, and TEN MINUTES later there were only two left. 😂

Safe to say, Yaren is already prepping more.

Fresh baked, made right here, and apparently very hard to walk past without taking one home. 🤎

We love getting to make these little treats for you, and we love even more seeing how excited y’all are when something new hits the counter.

There’s a whole lot more tucked inside Whole Bean than what comes across the counter. 🤎

While the Oreo cinnamon rolls are proofing, the baked goods are coming out of the oven, and our crew is doing what they do best, there are also a few little things around the shop you may not realize are here for you to take home.

Mugs for slow mornings.
Locally made art to brighten a corner of your home.
Honey for your pantry.
Coffee for the days you can’t make it in to see us.

And probably a few other things you’ve walked past while deciding what sounded good for lunch. ☕️

We love filling this place with things made, created, baked, and gathered with care, but more than anything, we love filling it with people.

So come look around. Stay awhile. Grab something sweet. Take something home if it catches your eye.

The microphones may not be allowed to get hot and spicy… but the coffee sure can. 😏🔥

Meet Soundcheck: brown sugar, vanilla, hot honey, iced coffee.

Sweet, bold, a little spicy, and just unexpected enough to fit the name.

We made this one for a Saturday full of good coffee, live music, and Rocky Mount Fest fun. Come grab yours before we close at 4 PM, then head down to the Iron Furnace stage and keep the evening going with Down From Cahas Band. 🤎🎶
