Only TWO WEEKS left to order Georgia Peaches! These free stone peaches are delivered to us directly from the farm and are excellent for eating fresh, baking, canning, and freezing. Available in a 25 pound box or 12.5 pound box.

We are starting a new Sunday series called SUNday tea.

Every week, we will feature a different blend of herbal tea that we harvest fresh from our gardens and steep in the sun 🌞

This week’s blend is:
Apple mint
Chamomile
Lavender
Nettle

These four pair together offering a refreshing blend with light floral notes of lavender and chamomile.

Mint is great for digestion and acts as a natural muscle relaxant. Lavender and chamomile are also great for your digestive system and act as a relaxant. Nettle is simply there for an extra boost of nutrition. It’s one of nature’s best sources of iron and offers vitamin C to assist absorption.

This tea would be great after a long day in the sun. Enjoying after dinner may help aid digestion and calm your body and mind for a deep sleep!

Have you ever made sun tea before? We used to make it growing up and still enjoy it.

We were delighted to host an herbal tea blending class for the Parke County Public Library this evening!

The participants enjoyed Golden Forrest’s herbal teas, lavender hibiscus cookies, and mini toasts. We talked about growing, drying, and using herbs to create tea blends, and finished the evening by blending individual teas to take home.

Thank you for spending the evening with us! A special thank you to Heather and Roberta at the library for offering so many amazing opportunities for the community. It’s always a joy to collaborate with the library 💛
