What better place than to open Claws, a casual outdoor lobster eatery. This "lobster in the rough" style of eating was made famous during the1970's by the Boothbay Region Lobstermens' Co-op of Boothbay Harbor and is the inspiration behind Claws. With amazing

views of the inner Harbor and also of the Breakwater and lighthouse and the covered and heated expansive deck, diners will be able to enjoy watching the boats motor by and see the goings-on at the Rockland Community Sailing Program next door. The three goals of Claws are to keep our business local, to buy locally caught seafood and provide affordable family dining. We also sell live and cooked lobster and all of our other amazing fresh seafood ready for you to prepare at home! Claws will re-open Wednesday, May 22nd! See you soon!

Our veggie burger is made in-house with a delicious blend of beans, beets, carrots, mushrooms, and more. It’s grilled to perfection and topped with crisp lettuce, tomato, and red onion, then served with a side of our flavorful garlic lemon aioli. It even looks like a real burger! 👀🍔

And with today's beautiful weather, there's no better place to enjoy one than on our covered deck overlooking the water. 🌊☀️ Some of the best views in Rockland, fresh coastal air, and a delicious meal—what more could you ask for?
