Today, members of our Algoma Township Fire Department and their families participated in the 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb, climbing in honor of the 343 FDNY firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11, 2001.

We’re proud of our members who took part and helped ensure that their sacrifice is never forgotten.

#343 Never Forgotten.

Tonight I would like to announce our new store hours:

Tuesday - Wednesday: 2:30pm-7:30pm
Thursday 2:30pm -8pm
Friday 11am -8pm
Saturday 12pm-8pm

Phones will open at 2:00pm so we can honor our Early Bird Special.

I will continue to make orders, during our off hours, when given advanced notice. I can be reached directly with the texting option through Google maps or through email: [email protected]

This was a difficult decision to make. Staffing our lunch hours has been tough over the years. For several, I ran lunch alone. However, I would often make customers upset because I had to be quick on the phone in order to run the oven and make food. The anger and reviews took a toll.
I am grateful you have given my grumpy old marine face and voice a second chance to show that isn't who I am.

All three of our kids have helped since then and I am incredibly grateful. This week our youngest leaves to pursue college education and basketball. We are officially empty nesters both at home and in our little pizza shop.

With fall approaching we looked at all of our options, including me trying to do it alone and made the difficult decision to change our hours. We call it my "semi-retirement" I will still be available to make orders with notice, as stated above. I am trying to make myself more accessible with direct texting and emails.

To conclude, I would like to sincerely thank all of you for your support over the years!

I would also like to say a special "Thank you" to Andi and the kids for working so hard to pursue my dreams, even to the extent of putting theirs on hold. I want them to to pursue their dreams, be successful, and happy.

More books are coming!
We have more books and puzzles coming to our table this week!
In two weeks, we have had over 300 books leave our little lobby! We are excited!
We are also grateful for an awesome donation that came in at the end of last week!
Steve is preparing a special rack to help with visibility.
