Fun fact our boss learned in Munich - Germans generally only put butter on a pretzel, maybe some sliced radish. But never mustard. Mustard is for sausages and pork.

Thankfully we're not in Munich.

Stop in all month for schnitzel, spaetlze, b**r braised pork and a rotating list of German style b**rs on tap. Oktoberfest menu runs until we run out of supplies, so call us soon for RSVPs or Curbside pickup at 815.962.8758.

Our webstore is LIVE with Tour De North End tickets, shirts & hoodie presales! Shirt and hoodie preorder window closes on MONDAY so if you want one, now's the time to get your order in. We'll have them ready for pickup on the day of the event and afterwards.

And thanks to a grant from GORockford, Passports are cheaper this year -- just $10 no matter when you buy them, online in advance or day of at the check in tent. Not interested in the passport? We hope you'll still join the free block party for live music, food and fun games all day long, as there's no fence or admission needed.

Whoa -- thank you for a fantastic Oktoberfest menu launch last night Rockford. Today we're brunching with loaded bloodies and breakfast specials, and the kitchen's prepping more schnitzels, spaetzel, and since it's Saturday, we'll start carving Prime Rib at 4pm too. Call us for curbside pickup anytime or ring us at 815.962.8758 and we'll save you a table.

NOTE -- Sunday we have some deep cleaning going on in the kitchen so we are closing the kitchen early *tonight* at 9pm (usually 11pm on weekends). But we wanted to do something for our night owls, so at 10pm, the cooks are gonna toss 10 pizzas in the warmer oven -- if you come in after 9 tonight, order a beverage, we'll slide you a slice for no charge. Late night pizza party on us.

Closed on Monday for Labor day. Back at it on Tuesday. Enjoy the long weekend Rockford. You deserve it.

Due to the changing weather and incessant demands from our guests, we launched our Oktoberfest menu today. Say goodbye to summer items like peach mango salsa and coconut shrimp, and say hello to schnitzel, spaetlze, sausages, b**r braised pork shank, and of course, mugs and mugs of b**r (psssst: riesling's also a great option.)

Well, we did it again. The thenorwegian and Plume joined forces to pick a special barrel of wh***ey (tough work I know) and we sure grabbed a delicious one.

Dancing Goat Distillery 10yr Rye Wh***ey finished in Sassafras Sorghum bitters barrels. Super unique finish, bottled at 110º, this is a great bottle to mix up fall cocktails that need some cinnamon & baking spice impact. Personally I think this wh***ey is fantastic neat, maybe with a root b**r chaser, but most people are gonna dig the Banana Bread Old Fashioned we're mixing up.

Grab a cocktail or a bottle to go at ANY of our locations, and raise your glass to the Rockford North End neighborhood before this special collab is gone forever.

Communities are formed wherever people gather round a few mugs -- and that's especially true of bars, breweries and coffeeshops. We figured, why not get some of our friends together to brew up a fun collab, so we invited our coffee roasting buddies at Gretaira Coffee to join us at Urban Forest Craft Brewing for a collab brew, and we came up with a banger...

We introduce to you, our newest collab: KEEP THE FAITH BROWN ALE.

A session, English style brown with a big dose of Gretaira's New Faithful coffee. We'll be serving this b**r starting Thursday Aug 13 until we kill off all the kegs, and as always, we suggest drinking fresh!
