Yay!! Love sponsoring and love all the hockey fans that support us!!

🌭 SPONSOR SPOTLIGHT: STREET MEATS FOOD TRUCK 🏒

Some partners have been with us from the very beginning, and Street Meats Food Truck is one of them. We are incredibly grateful for their continued support of Miners Hockey!

Not only are they a longtime sponsor, but they’ve also been serving up delicious food at every home game and helping make game night an even better experience for our fans. We’re excited to have Street Meats back with us for another season!

Thank you, Street Meats, for believing in the Miners from day one and continuing to be part of what we’re building here in Rock Springs!

Full transparency… and vulnerability….

I never let things get this out of hand.

Normally, I stay on top of the upkeep, the cleaning, the maintenance, the business — all of it. But after a rough 2025 and beginning of 2026, both personally and professionally, I checked out.

There was a point where I honestly almost gave up and sold literally everything — the businesses, the house, everything in it. I just didn’t care anymore. I let things slide. I ignored things that needed done. I let people get to me, and somewhere in the process, I lost myself.

I took vacations. I tried to reset. And they helped for a little while… but you eventually learn that when you’re running from yourself, you never really get away from you.

I spent a little too much money 😂, made some mistakes, and eventually had to face a few things.

I let people leave my life instead of continuing to chase them.
I pulled back professionally so I could regroup.
And I started figuring out what I actually wanted again.

This summer has been a lot about reconnecting with myself.

I’ve spent more time with my sister — something I don’t think I realized how much I needed. We’ve gotten to hang out, work together, laugh, talk, and just spend actual time together instead of life constantly getting in the way. Some of my favorite memories from this summer aren’t necessarily the big events or busy days; they’re simply getting to spend more time with her.

I’ve spent more time with friends, too. I got to spend time with my mom and grandparents after everything that happened. I’ve slowed down enough to actually enjoy some of life instead of constantly running from one thing to the next.

And through all of that, Street Meats kept reminding me why I started.

Every event. Every crazy line. Every sold-out day. Every person who shows up, shares a post, recommends me, comes back for another sandwich, or tells me they’re proud of what I’ve built.

This community has continued to support me even during a time when I wasn’t always sure I wanted to keep going.

And somewhere along the way this summer, something changed.

I’m back.

Not magically fixed. Not completely caught up. Not pretending the last year didn’t happen.

But I’m motivated again. I want to build again. I want to grow again. And instead of just surviving, I’m trying to actually thrive.

I went to the Food Truck Expo, and it got me excited about this business again. I have a little more hope that my new trailer might ACTUALLY happen this year 🤞. I’m working on relaunching, building better systems, growing Street Meats, and figuring out what the next chapter looks like.

I’m also learning that building all of this can’t come at the expense of myself. I’m trying to make self-care part of the plan instead of something I only do once I’m completely burned out.

In September, I’m going to a recovery retreat with my sponsor and friends, and I’m genuinely looking forward to that reset too.

So yeah…

I’m playing catch-up.

There are things that got neglected. There are things that need cleaned, organized, repaired, finished and rebuilt.

But for the first time in a while, I actually have the desire to do it.

Sometimes life gets messy.

Apparently mine got really fu***ng messy. 😂

But I’m cleaning it up — literally and figuratively — and I’m excited about what’s next.

Thank you to everyone who kept showing up while I was finding my way back. 🧡

Street Meats isn’t done. Neither am I.

Farson I won’t be out today but will be back next Monday, we can spend Labor Day together!!

After a crazy busy summer and honestly, all of life’s craziness over the last year, it’s time to play a little catch-up! 🧽🧼

Street Meats will be CLOSED MONDAY & TUESDAY so I can tackle a much-needed DEEP CLEAN and get caught up on all those behind-the-scenes things that get pushed aside when you’re constantly prepping, cooking, traveling, serving, and trying to keep up with life.

Hood & filters, equipment, walls, floors, coolers, storage — every nook and cranny is getting some love. 💪

Sometimes you have to shut things down for a couple days, reset, get organized, and take care of the equipment that takes care of you.

We’ll be back WEDNESDAY — clean, stocked, organized, and ready to sling some meat! 🥩🔥

Thanks for one hell of a busy summer and for continuing to keep this little business BUSY! 🧡🩵

I will get this week’s and September’s Schedule posted this afternoon.

A lot of you have told me you love seeing the process, and I love showing you what goes on behind the scenes at Street Meats! 🥩🔥

This is where your sandwich actually starts.

I start with a HUGE hunk of beef—each package has four big slabs like this. From there, I break it down by hand, trimming away the gristle and excess fat and cutting it into beautiful pieces of steak.

Then it hits the grill. 🔥 I cook the steak to a nice medium rare, pull it off the heat, let it rest, and dice it into those perfect bite-sized pieces.

When you order, that steak goes back on the grill with the veggies, gets loaded with cheese and all the other good stuff, and eventually turns into the big, messy sandwich you’re holding in that last picture. 🤤

There are definitely easier ways to do it. I could buy pre-cut, pre-portioned beef and dump it on the grill—but that’s not how I want to make your food.

Big hunks of beef ➡️ hand trimmed ➡️ hand cut ➡️ grilled ➡️ diced ➡️ loaded up ➡️ STREET MEATS.

Now you know what happens before I hand you that beautiful box of meat. 😏🥩🔥

I’m going to start posting MORE behind-the-scenes content and videos! 🎥🔥

You guys seem to love seeing what actually goes into making Street Meats, so I want to show you more—the prep, the cooking, the chaos, and how your favorites go from raw ingredients to the finished product. 🥩🤤

So tell me…

👇 What’s your FAVORITE Street Meats menu item?
👇 What do you want to see me make from start to finish?
👇 Or is there something behind the scenes you’ve always wondered about?

Drop it in the comments! I’m going to use your answers to decide what I film next. 👀

And yes… you may get to see just how much work goes into some of this s**t before it ever reaches your box. 😂🔥

Welcome behind the scenes of Street Meats. 🥩🔪🔥

I’M SO EXCITED!!! 😂🧊🧊🧊

I finally got the water plumbed to the ice machine and IT’S MAKING ICE!!!

Is this what adulthood and owning a food business looks like? Getting ridiculously excited watching ice cubes fall into a bin? 😂

But seriously… NO MORE BUYING BAG AFTER BAG AFTER BAG OF ICE! 🙌

No more hauling it. No more running out at the worst possible time. No more realizing I need ice when I’m already slammed.

It might seem like a little thing, but every project like this gets the kitchen one step closer to where I’ve been trying to get it.

Today’s victory: WE MAKE OUR OWN DAMN ICE NOW! 🧊😂🙌
