If you haven’t seen it yet, our latest Special of the Month is our Joel Padilla Honduran! A pleasant medium roast with citrusy stone fruit notes and honey sweetness, our Honduran is part of a Direct Trade Farm-to-Cup program that partners directly with individual coffee farmers to support their fair compensation and community resources.

Joel de Jesús Padilla has spent over a decade restoring and maintaining a coffee farm in La Bellota that has been a part of his family’s history since 1940. Named La Bendición (The Blessing), the farm today remains a source of employment and a model of perseverance for the community. Joel has involved more of his family to share the flavor of their land, striving to expand the farm and become a reference and inspiration for other Honduran coffee producers.

Happy 4th of July! It’s a little early, but we hope you enjoy this long summer weekend while staying cool and beating the heat. Wear sunscreen, spend some time in the shade, drink something cool and refreshing, and have fun!

We will be closed next Friday and Saturday for the holiday weekend. The rest of our hours are the same: you can stop by next Thursday at 9am-6pm or the Monday after at 9am-5pm.
