We are a family-owned small business, and Swan Market has always been about more than food โ itโs about people, family, and community. Like many small businesses, Fridays are critical for us. Our employees rely on those hours, and their families rely on them too. Because of that, we are not able to shut our doors completely this Friday โ but we want to be very clear: we stand with the national shutdown and with our Rochester community.
Standing together can take many forms. For us, it means showing up in the ways we are able. We will be making a donation to , who are doing vital work supporting families and individuals impacted right here in our city. It also means taking care of our neighbors โ anyone who is directly affected by the shutdown is invited to stop in and enjoy free appetizer pretzels on us, no questions asked.
Our employees are the heart of this business. They are parents, neighbors, friends, and community members. We believe standing up for our community also means protecting the people who make Swan Market what it is every single day.
There is power in moments like this โ power in standing together, power in using our voices, and power in doing what we can, where we are. Today and beyond, we choose to stand up for what we believe in, to support our neighbors, and to be part of the collective effort to make a difference.
Thank you for standing with us, and for standing with our community. โค๏ธ
