One year ago today, we unlocked the doors to Little Bits for the very first time. And somehow, it still doesn’t feel real. 🤍 Almost two years ago, after Billy’s mom Debbie passed away, Billy and I sat together talking through tears about how badly we wished we could make her dream come true someday. Debbie always dreamed of having a cozy little coffee shop. A place where people could slow down, feel welcome, and leave happier than when they came in. Truly getting “a little bit of this and a little bit of that”! We talked about how amazing it would be if one day the perfect little spot became available for rent. We had hope, faith, and a dream that felt so important to keep alive for her. And only a couple months later, somehow, that dream found us. Opening Little Bits became so much more than starting a business. It became healing during one of the hardest times in our lives. It became a way to carry Debbie with us every single day. There are so many moments inside these walls where we still feel her presence, in the conversations, the laughter, the kindness, and the feeling of home this little shop has created. Not many people can say they get to build something like this beside the person they love while raising their three beautiful daughters together. We never take this blessing for granted. To our community, thank you will never feel like enough. You took our little family in with so much grace, excitement, patience, and love. You supported us before we even fully believed in ourselves. You showed up for our dream over and over again, and because of you, Little Bits became more than we ever imagined. Today, as we celebrate one whole year of Little Bits, we do it with full hearts and happy tears knowing Debbie’s dream is alive. Her name, her love, and her vision live on in this little coffee shop every single day.
This place is her legacy. And now it’s part of ours too. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for believing in us, supporting us, and helping us keep her dream alive. ☕️🤍
