Thank you for looking at my albums--cake decorating is an obsession for me that started about 16 years ago when my children were small. I was the baker for The Long Pond Family Restaurant for about 4 1/2 years before opening my own place and was encouraged by all the positive feedback from the diners! I love talking with the customers, providing exceptional customer service so that customers quickly become friends! I try very hard to make every cake fresh, delicious and custom made for the person of honor at your party. My favorite compliment is when someone writes to me after their party and says "People who never eat cake had 2 pieces!" I think folks today are so used to having party cakes from big box stores that they have forgotten how good they taste when they are fresh. There is a huge difference in quality and do you really end up saving any money by buying from bulk stores if no one actually eats the cake? If you're going to spend the money and the calories--shouldn't you enjoy every bite?

It's Cinnamon Roll Thursday and they are ready!! Plain, Cream Cheese Icing or Buttercream--you choose! I will be away this weekend, so we will not be making them Saturday or Sunday this week. We also have some freshly made Pumpkin Breads available this morning, too!

I will be taking a couple days off this weekend for a girls trip to Old Forge with my aunts and cousins. My incredible crew will be here holding down the fort while I'm gone! If you need to speak to me about a custom cake, please call before Friday or after Tuesday.

I absolutely love our community and my customers! I just want to make note about some of the wonderful things we are going together:

1) We were asked "Would you put out a small box to collect feminine hygiene products for the local Food Pantries for the month of September?" Of course we did--and that small box was filled in 1 day! And the next day and the next! A volunteer came to collect some of your donations yesterday because the need is so high. We will continue to collect feminine products through the end of the month!

2) We are making some of the desserts for the Bingo Night Fundraiser for Hand To Paw Cat rescue at Vine and Tap next Wednesday! Some of my crew are also attending the event if you'd like to go head to head with us

3) We donated 8 dozen cupcakes for the fundraiser tonight for The Community Place Art Of Giving event. We have given to this organization for many years and love supporting the work they do! Will you be there tonight?

4) Because some of you voted, we are in the running for the Democrat and Chronicles Community Choice Awards for Best Bakery again this year. We are up with 6 other amazing local bakeries and it doesn't matter who wins--they are all incredible! Thank you for voting for us, we are proud to be included! Voting continues through 9/23.

Thank you for all you do to support our little corner of the world! These are all small things that make a HUGE difference! I love you all so much!

Reaching Saturday sales goals on a random tuesday is very rare but we did it!! Holy cow we were working hard yesterday! 80% of our sales were for 9/15 and 9/16 birthdays, 2 of the most common birth days of the year.

The cases are filled back up with delicious treats for you! Stop in for a Cake, Pie, Cheesecake, Cupcakes, Cookies, Brownies and more! The Bills play again tomorrow night--order your treats for the game today! 621-1515

This is the last week of Peach Custard Pie season. When the peaches we have are gone, it's over. Thank you for a very good summer--my mom was always amazed at how much you love her recipes! Peach Season is coming to an end soon. I asked a couple of the farmers at the market Thursday and they said they are getting towards the end of the season soon. The orchards are almost empty. Get your Peach Custard Pie today! Time is officially running out.

Cakes, Cupcakes, Cheesecake, Pies, Cookies, Brownies and Savastano's Mini Pizzas, Stuffed Breads and Italian bread are all filling up the cases. We have Billiever and Football Cupcakes back, too!
