After much thought and consideration,we have made the difficult decision to close Mezza9 Café.
Our last day of business will be June 30, 2026.
This decision comes after a long period of struggle. Like many small businesses, we have faced rising costs, high rent, and the ongoing challenge of low foot traffic in downtown Rochester. Despite our best efforts, it has become increasingly difficult to sustain the business.
Mezza9 was built with passion, hard work, and a love for serving our community. While the business is closing, we are proud of what we created and grateful for every guest who supported us along the way.
To everyone who came in for coffee, lunch, desserts, meetings, or simply to say hello—thank you. Your support meant everything to me and my team.
We also hope this serves as a reminder that small businesses are the heart of a community. When local businesses struggle and close, we all lose a piece of what makes downtown unique and vibrant.
Please stop by and visit us before our final day on June 30, 2026.
