This long weekend has meant more to me than I can really put into words.

For so long, I’ve been in this constant mindset of what’s next? What needs to get done? Where do I need to be? What can I build, improve or accomplish next?

And somewhere along the way, I think I forgot that I’m allowed to just… live.

This weekend I slowed down. I stepped away from work. I spent time with the people I love without constantly thinking about where I needed to be next.

And I needed it more than I realized.

I love what I’ve built. I love dreaming big, working hard and watching those crazy ideas turn into something real. But I’m starting to realize that success can’t just be measured by how much I accomplish.

It also has to be measured by how much of this life I actually get to enjoy.

There will always be more work waiting for me.

But these moments? They don’t wait.

So I’m heading into this next season reminding myself that maybe I don’t always need to do more.

Maybe I just need to live a little more. 🤎

We’re taking a little Labor Day weekend break! ☕️🤎

Papa’s Roast Coffee will not be at the Farmers Market tomorrow, Saturday, September 5th.

The Farmers Market is still OPEN, so be sure to stop out and support all of the amazing local vendors—we’re just taking the day off to enjoy the holiday weekend with our families. 🌿

We’ll be back next week, rested and ready to caffeinate you! ☕️

I’ve always been an early morning person, but as we near the end of the kids’ summer—and continue to push through our busiest coffee trailer season yet—I’d be lying if I said some mornings weren’t harder than others.

One thing that always keeps me going? The sunrise. 🌅

Those quiet early-morning moments before the day gets busy. A chance to slow down, look around, and watch the sky fill with color.

A little reminder that even in the busiest seasons of life, there’s still so much beauty if we take a moment to notice it. 🤎

Maybe that’s why I’ll always love the early mornings.

Got to work alongside my little man yesterday at Holy Spirit’s Back-to-School event, and he absolutely crushed it! ❤️☕️

A huge thank you to everyone who showed him a little extra patience and helped him ring through some of the more complicated orders while I was stacked full on the espresso bar. Watching our customers jump in, encourage him, and continue to show our little family business so much love and support means more than you know.

He was so proud of himself—and I was one VERY proud mama. 🥹

So I think it’s officially time to introduce the newest Papa’s Roast Coffee trailer helper… Camden! ❤️☕️

Looks like Papa’s Roast really is becoming a family business. 😉
