PLEASE DON'T BE AFRAID TO EAT STRAWBERRIES
While it is true that some farmers may use wheat straw to as ground cover over their strawberries, it should be free from gluten. Wheat straw is what is left after the wheat grain is harvested. If you gently rinse your strawberries, it will remove any possible grain or dust.
