🐾 Michigan Humane Tour Series: Part 9 Finale ❤️

We couldn’t think of a better way to end our tour than by learning about Dog Day Getaway.

This special program gives shelter dogs a chance to spend the day outside the shelter exploring, relaxing, and enjoying one-on-one time with members of the community. It’s a wonderful way to give dogs a break, help them build confidence, and showcase their personalities while they wait for their forever homes.

A heartfelt thank you to Colin and the entire Michigan Humane team for welcoming us and sharing the incredible work you do every day. We hope this series has given you a deeper appreciation for all the people, programs, and compassion that make Michigan Humane so special.

Whether you choose to adopt, foster, volunteer, donate, or simply spread the word, every act of kindness helps change an animal’s life. ❤️🐾

🐾 Michigan Humane Tour Series: Part 8 ❤️

Sometimes, all an animal needs is a temporary home filled with love.

During our tour, we learned how Michigan Humane’s foster program gives animals a safe, caring place to heal, grow, and prepare for their forever homes. Even a temporary home can make a lifelong difference.

A special thank you to Colin and the entire Michigan Humane team for sharing the incredible impact of your foster program.

🐾 Don’t miss our final stop in Part 9!

🐾 Michigan Humane Tour Series: Part 7 ❤️

This stop reminded us that caring for animals takes a community.

From the clinic staff providing expert medical care to the volunteers donating their time and love, every effort helps make a difference for animals in need.

Thank you to Colin and the entire Michigan Humane team for showing us how every role contributes to giving these animals the best possible care.

🐾 Stay tuned for Part 8!

The Shelter Medicine team plays a vital role in helping animals heal, recover, and prepare for adoption. It was incredible to see the care and compassion that goes into every animal’s journey.

Thank you to Colin and the Michigan Humane team for giving us a behind-the-scenes look at the amazing work you do every day.

🐾 Michigan Humane Tour Series: Part 5 ❤️

A little fresh air goes a long way. 🐶

One of our favorite stops on the tour was the dog run and play yard, where dogs can run, play, and simply enjoy being dogs while they wait for their forever families.

It’s just one of the many ways Michigan Humane helps keep animals happy, healthy, and ready for their next chapter.

Thank you to Colin and the entire Michigan Humane team for showing us the love and care that goes into every animal’s journey.

🐾 Stay tuned for Part 6!

🐾 Michigan Humane Tour Series: Part 4 ❤️

This stop introduced us to Michigan Humane’s incredible Field Services Team, the dedicated professionals who respond to animal cruelty, neglect, and rescue cases throughout our community.

Their work is about more than investigations. It’s about giving vulnerable animals a second chance and ensuring they receive the care and protection they deserve.

A special thank you to Colin and the entire Michigan Humane team for sharing the important work happening behind the scenes every day.

🐾 Michigan Humane Tour Series: Part 3 ❤️

Behind every happy adoption is a team of caring people working tirelessly to make sure each animal feels safe, healthy, and loved.

🐾 Michigan Humane Tour Series: Part 2 ❤️

This stop gave us a new perspective.

At Michigan Humane, surrender is never the first option. Before a pet is surrendered, their team works with families to provide resources, guidance, and support in hopes of keeping pets where they belong at home with the people who love them.

Thank you to Colin and the Michigan Humane team for showing us the compassion behind every decision they make.

🐾 Stay tuned for Part 3!

🐾 Michigan Humane Tour Series: Part 1 ❤️
