We are beyond honored and incredibly grateful! ❤️🍗

A huge THANK YOU to Worth The Drive TX for stopping by Barrera’s Fried Chicken and for ranking us #1! Being recognized by a page dedicated to finding the best hidden gems across South Texas truly means the world to our family.

For generations, we’ve taken pride in serving our community with the same homemade recipes, quality, and hospitality that have made Barrera’s Fried Chicken a local tradition. To have that hard work recognized is both humbling and rewarding.

Most importantly, thank you to our loyal customers who have supported us through the years. This recognition belongs to all of you just as much as it does to us. Your continued support has made Barrera’s Fried Chicken what it is today.

If you haven’t visited us yet, come see why we’re Worth the Drive! 🍗❤️

From our family to yours… thank you for making Barrera’s Fried Chicken South Texas’ #1 ranked hidden gem! 🙏🏆

🏆 JULY RANKINGS ARE OFFICIALLY HERE! 🏆

After hitting 10 hidden joints across South Texas this month, here’s how they stacked up. Some lived up to the hype… others surprised me. 👀

Think I got one wrong? 😅

👇 Drop your Top 3 in the comments and tell me what should’ve been higher (or lower). I read every recommendation, and one of your picks might be my next stop.
