We had our Red White and Blue tee challenge today. 42 golfers participated. Each golfer had to play 6 holes from the blue tees,white tees,and red tees.

Course Update

As part of our ongoing course improvement project, we've recently sprigged sections of our fairways with new Bermuda grass. To help the new grass establish, a few temporary changes will be in place for the next couple of weeks.

➡️ Holes #1 and #13 will be played as par 3s.

➡️ Golf carts are restricted to cart paths or the rough only. Please keep carts off the fairways during this time.

We're irrigating the newly sprigged areas frequently, and our sprinkler system waters the entire fairway. Even if parts of a fairway look dry enough to drive on, they may actually be very wet. Keeping carts off the fairways helps protect both the new Bermuda sprigs and the existing turf while everything gets established.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we invest in improving the course. These temporary changes will help ensure healthier, stronger fairways for everyone to enjoy.

Celebrate Independence Day with us at Quail Creek Country Club with our exciting Red, White & Blue Challenge on Saturday, July 4, 2026! Starting at 8:00 a.m. with a shotgun start.

This fun and strategic event puts a unique twist on your round. Players may choose which tee box to play from on each hole, but there’s a catch—you must use:

🔴 6 Red Tees
⚪ 6 White Tees
🔵 6 Blue Tees

Plan your strategy carefully and see if you can navigate the course for the best score!

Entry Fees:

Members: $25 per player plus the cart fee. (All-inclusive members do not pay cart fees)
Non-Members: $75 per player (includes golf and game entry)
This will be a handicapped event, and non members are welcome. Men 59 and younger will be given 80% of their handicap (from the blue tees), Men 60-74 will receive 100% of their handicap (from the yellow tees); and Men over 75 and ladies will receive 120% of their handicap (from the grey tees).

Below are 2 pictures of the same young man. Ryder Cowan played in our AJGA event is 2020 (top picture), and is currently tied for 13th place heading into today's final round at the US Open at Shinnecock Hills in New York as a Amateur and a Senior at the University of Oklahoma. This is one of the cool things we get to see when we host the AJGA event. The kids that play here are the next generation of great golfers!!!

With last night's and today's rain, we will not be sprigging the golf course tomorrow. We will be open for play tomorrow. To book a tee time please call the pro shop at 618-544-7502.

The golf course will now be open on Tuesday as our sprigging project will be delayed until Friday. The course will be closed Friday until our Couples event that starts at 5:00PM. Thank you for your patience as we continue to improve course conditions!!!!

This will be a busy week here at Quail Creek.

Due to the sprigging project on Tuesday, Men's League will start at 5:00 PM on Monday.

Tuesday: The golf course is closed all day due to sprigging. The range will be open.

This week's Ladies clinic will be Tuesday at 5:30pm instead of Thursday night. Meet over at the driving range.

On Wednesday, we will have our normal Ladies League Night.

Thursday we have an outing that tees off at 1:00pm so the course will be closed at that time. If you play Thursday morning carts need to be turned in by 12:00PM.

On Friday, we have our 9-hole couples scramble at 5:00pm and Steak Night at the Working Mule.

On Saturday, The MGA Men's Golf Association is having its 18-hole par-3 tournament. Tee off is at 8:00AM and the deadline to sign up for this is Friday at 5:00pm.

On Sunday we have an outing in the morning and our annual Parent/Child 9 hole scramble at 1:00 PM in the afternoon.
