Good afternoon, Cafe family! Good news: the fry station is up and running again and there WILL BE a fish fry on Friday!! Bad news: it’s been a quiet day at the restaurant today and we’ve decided to shut down an hour early and go home. See you tomorrow!

Good morning! A little PSA for tomorrow, we will NOT be doing a fish fry. Unfortunately our fish fryer (the actual fryer, not the boss lady) kicked the bucket and is taking its final rest in the land of decommissioned restaurant equipment. It served us a solid 20 years and for that we are grateful. However, we were also unprepared and do not have another fryer on standby. The restaurant will be open, but going off the regular menu! We are sorry for this minor inconvenience - hoping to see another fryer in the very near future!

Good morning. It's 83 degrees and the humidity is approx. 100%. I feel like I'm breathing into a hot, wet towel. If I could convince you that a bowl of ice water was a legitimate meal substitute, I would surely try to do so. As it is, I am NOT making biscuits & gravy this morning. It's going to be hot enough in the kitchen without the oven on.
When we close at 2pm on Friday, we will be closed for the holiday weekend. We will be camping with Shane & Cindy AND Stacy. It has been quite awhile since we have camped together, so I hope the weather doesn't have us all on edge and crabby with each other.

Good afternoon! For dinner tonight I have smokey beef brisket sandwiches with your choice of 2 sides for 10.99. I also have some homemade potato salad. One of our morning customers gifted us with some fresh cherries from his tree so Stacy made 2 pies for today
