A MESSAGE TO OUR LOYAL CUSTOMERS

The building which houses The Isaac's Restaurant was sold on the 29th of February.

We have been negotiating lease terms with the new landlord.
During this process we have had a lot of considerations to make about preserving our current location, and our aim has been to keep providing the best Mediterranean cuisine in the Roanoke Valley, right here in the Grandin Village.

We are sorry to say that we are unable to reach an agreement suitable to our needs, and The Isaac's Restaurant will be closing the doors at our Grandin Village home, effective Sunday, March 11, 2012. Our last lunch and dinner service will be Saturday, March 12, 2012.

However, we will continue to provide catering services to the Roanoke area, and we are actively seeking a new home to reopen the doors to our beloved restaurant!

This decision has not come easy, but we feel it necessary. We believe that this course of action will best enable us to pursue a new path in our ongoing commitment to deliver exquisite cuisine to the community we love.

To our loyal customers, friends, and everyone who has enjoyed our delicious food, we want to express our undying gratitude for your love and support through the years. We want you to know, we will continue serving the excellent food you have come to expect from The Isaac's Restaurant, no matter where the restaurant resides. We love our customers, and we remain committed to cooking great food for our wonderful patrons!

Please join us today for our final day of in-house dining at our Grandin Village location to show your love for The Isaac's Restaurant, our delicious food, and our phenomenal family of staff and neighborhood friends!

It is up the Copper River that the salmon must travel 300 miles to reach their spawning grounds, which requires extra stores of omega-3 fatty acids that make Copper River salmon some of the most prized salmon in the world.

Unfortunately, the VABC is still taking their time on our license. We regret not having any new information on this matter and we and our lawyer are working very hard on complying with the VABC's many requests. Over 3 months ago, Isaac's employees formed our own company when our former owner left the business to us. We love this restaurant and simply wanted to keep our jobs and a viable business within our local economy. New ownership, required a new ABC license. The reason for the long wait? I'm not quite sure, but we will be discussing this matter with our State representatives, as well as our local Roanoke Regional Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development. Thank you to all our customers for you continued support of small local business!
