I started out selling pies and other treats at a rural roadside stand.

The sugar cream pie, which is a secret family recipe, was by far the biggest seller. My husband had a brilliant idea to create a pie filling mix that would be simple & convenient for customers to make on their own. So, I got to work…

After spending over a year on research and development, I finally had created the perfect mix for customers to enjoy! It tastes just like the decadent, silky-smooth pie that customers have been enjoying all these years… And you just add liquid.

Last Friday we hosted the Roanoke Fall Festival pie eating contest. There was a lot of pie scarfed down in a mater of minutes. We had some close races.

Ages 6-11: Emmett Wilson with 9.2
ounces of pie
12-17: John Stevens with 17.5 ounces
Adult: Patrick Moriarty with 26.6 ounces

The Roanoke Fall Festival is happening this weekend in Roanoke Indiana!

For the past 12 or 13 years I have headed up the beloved pie eating contest. It’s a timed, no hands contest and it’s so much fun watching the contestants get incredibly messy during the competition.
