This month, we're celebrating 50 incredible years since the very first Capriotti's opened in Wilmington, Delaware—and we couldn't think of a sweeter way to celebrate than with our limited-time Birthday Bundt Cake!

A special thank you to Allyson Montalvo and her children for helping us celebrate with a heartfelt rendition of Happy Birthday in today's video. Their smiles and enthusiasm made this milestone even more special! ❤️

This is not one of them.

Meet the Wagyu Slaw Be Jo.

Thin-sliced Wagyu beef piled high on a fresh Capriotti’s roll with provolone, handmade slaw, mayo, Russian dressing, and a crack of black pepper.

It’s messy. It’s ridiculous. It’s the kind of sandwich that requires at least three napkins and a complete disregard for table manners.

Cold. Crunchy. Creamy. Loaded with flavor.

A few months ago, we had the privilege of catering for Straight Street Roanoke Valley right here in Roanoke, and we wanted to take a moment to recognize the incredible work they do in our community. ❤️

Straight Street is dedicated to helping local youth and families through mentorship, counseling, outreach programs, and support services that truly make a difference in people’s lives every day.

We also want to give a shoutout to Orchard Hills Church for supporting and investing in our local community alongside organizations like Straight Street.

At Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop Roanoke, we’re always grateful for opportunities to support groups that are creating positive change right here in our city. Thank you for everything you both do for Roanoke — we were honored to be a small part of it!

👏 Shoutout to our Employee of the Month… SOPHIE!

Only 2 months in and already making an impact 💥 Sophie says her favorite part of the job is our regulars—and it shows every shift.

If it’s your first time stopping by, she’s pointing you straight to the cheesesteaks or the Italian (her personal favorite… hold the onions 😉).

Outside of Capriotti’s, Sophie is working toward becoming a choir teacher 🎶—so yeah, she’s got talent on and off the line.

Fuel of choice? Iced Vanilla Berry Red Bull or a Grape Propel ⚡️
