To The Elephant loyals that loved us,
We're now PERMANENTLY closed.
I'm so sorry we couldn't give more of a notice but as most of you know it was coming.
We were bought out tonight and a new location in Ga will be posted shortly. It happened so fast we didn't even have time to prepare. We're thankful though because our Gracie Mae is taking her experience with us to a whole new spot.
We're so sad to leave The Elephant and we pray that whatever business follows us, you will the same love y'all gave to us.
I ( Susan) learned what an amazing town Roanoke Al is and how much love the people here have. We were loved on from day one until forever. I will forever be grateful for the things I learned on this journey.
Thank you to all of for excepting us and giving us a shot.
The Elephant will forever be a milestone in my life as will all of you! Thank y'all.
I met many that impacted my life, please keep in touch.
I will keep the page until we announce Graces new location because we know y'all will support her.

We need y'all's help!!
The Elephant Coffee shop is looking for a trailer or food truck to move into. I'd like for it to be ready to go for the most part but I can do some modifications of course.
We think if we can go mobile then we can cater to y'all at different times. We can travel with all the events.
We've been offered at spot at Bridging the Gap in Roanoke and would love nothing more than to be over there.
If you know of anyone or anything please send them our way.

Hey customers, friends and new family. This is Susan the owner of the coffee shop.
I wanted to take a second and update all of you on our situation.
The rent on The Elephant building is at an amount that The Elephant can't efficiently run and support itself on our sales. ($700 month) Ive been offered some buildings out of Roanoke, but I honestly don't want to move out of Roanoke. At this time I'm not really sure what will happen with the coffee shop but I do know The Elephant building will not go vacant. It will stay alive. I will make a decision soon on what the best situation is for all of us. We will be open until January either way so come see us when you can.

This isn't just about me,but, this is also about all of you and my 3 girls Grace, Abi & Kaylee. These girls have truly became my family and they have given The Elephant every ounce of their love & dedication. If we do have to close completely and not reopen some place else, I am asking if anyone has a beneficial position for them I promise you will not regret it. They all 3 show up and give me their all. If I could keep them forever I would. Although, they will forever be a part of me. They began a very important journey in my life with me and stuck beside me.
I can't begin to Thank all of you for all the love and support you give us. Some of you have become amazing friends to me and some are my new family. I will cherish every single one of you for a lifetime. I will cherish the courage, prayers and friendships I've received. Thank you all truly. I couldn't stand the thought of not letting everyone know and I couldn't dare to just close down with no notice.
I will answer any and all questions with honesty. Hope to see you all this next month.
