I want to take a minute and clarify something. I got a little smart with someone that commented on my post yesterday about King's Inn. I will tell you that I don't see King's Inn as my competitor and have never said a bad thing about King's Inn. King's Inn is basically a full seafood restaurant, while I have a full menu serving way more items. There is enough room for everyone in this business. What gets me is when I have the TROLLS that post on my posts stating their preference of places. I'm glad you are supporting local businesses. That is what it is about! Support Local! I personally support many local restaurants, mainly because I like to eat! 😆 But for real, local businesses are what keep this area going! We frequent The Bull Pen, Nucky's, The Silver Spur, Young's, El Tapatio, Big House Burgers, Baffin Bay Convenience Store and the Reel Baffin Convenience Store. Bruno's Tacos and Papacitos. I've even tried out Smoking Crab and Charky's. (I'm sure I missed someone). These guys are not competitors! These guys are friend's trying to survive in our local area. Whatever your personal preference is, GREAT! Just get out and support locally owned businesses! Thanks everyone for your continued support!

PS: I might poke a little fun at King's Inn, but not maliciously. 😂

Update on the drum situation. I've called every seafood market that I know of or have done business with. I'm waiting on a call back from 1 more in the morning. So far I have come up with 50lbs of fillets. I usually go through 250-300lbs a week. So, contrary to belief and the comments that I am "lowballing" commercial fishermen, I am trying to get what my customers want. The market is slow right now. I will be picking these 50lbs and hopefully some more tomorrow morning. 50lbs won't last long though. Thanks everyone for the kind words and support! See y'all this weekend.

Unfortunately we are unable to get Black Drum at this time. Our suppliers are claiming that due to the heat the drum bite has slowed down. We are doing everything we can to get it, but it's been difficult the past 2 weeks. We still have lots of great food on the menu, so come see us. Hopefully, it will change next week. Sorry for the inconvenience.
