Even though Dominic went to no comic con this year, this was AMAZING! (But the D.O. SHOULD HAD BROUGHT HIS IRON MAN 2-DISC DVD COPY TO GET SIGNED!!!)

A LOOK INTO FOXTAIL'S OCTOBER ROASTER'S SELECT!

This month's Roaster’s Select comes from India! The origination of Indian Monsoon Malabar coffee dates back to the era when wooden ships loaded with raw coffee beans would take up to 6 months to travel from India to Europe, sailing around the Cape of Good Hope. During the months that the coffee beans were transported at sea, the humidity and ocean winds combined to cause the coffee to change from its fresh green color to a more aged, pale yellow hue.

Upon their arrival in Europe, the coffee beans were found to have a unique mellowness. Soft and smooth tasting throughout the cup, the coffee became an instant hit with Europeans, paving the way for the birth of a new coffee type. Today these conditions are replicated in warehouses during the Indian monsoon season so that the coffee beans, exposed to constant humid conditions, undergo the same characteristic changes in size, texture, appearance and in the cup. This unique process results in a rich medium roast with tasting notes of Dark Chocolate and Cream!

We roast coffee from all over the world 🌎☕️

Why?

Because things like soil, climate, and altitude can make a big difference in what you taste in your cup.

That’s what makes exploring coffee so fun! Our Farmhouse blend brings a balanced, familiar flavor year-round, while our single-origin coffees let you taste what makes each region unique.

Right now, we’re featuring coffees from Honduras, Ethiopia, Colombia, and Costa Rica! Every month, our Roaster’s Select program gives you a new origin to discover!

This month’s Roaster’s Select is coming soon!
Any guesses? 🤔
