On behalf of my wife Vicky and myself Welcome! Many of you are well known costumers; others are sampling our menu for the first time. Here at Zacatecas it is our mission to provide you with unique and genuine Mexican food. Every dish is prepared with the same recipes my Mother created. As we approach our 50th Anniversary we reflect and remember the inspiration, dedication, and hard work. I started

at a young age helping my mother cook after school and on weekends. The two of us would combine our ideas and created dishes like the Hamburger Ranchera and Stake picado. Over the years we continued to add more items and specialize in large party catering. Due to high demand and with the help of my Wife Vicky in 1996 we opened the banquet room. Since then we have hosted over 2,000 events.

What a beautiful morning of community, connection, and conversation at Zacatecas Cafe. 🤎

Today, Riverside Latino Network gathered once again in our banquet room, bringing together community leaders, neighbors, and local officials for meaningful updates and an opportunity for our community to ask questions, voice concerns, and be heard.

We were honored to welcome Riverside Mayor Patricia Lock Dawson as this month’s special guest speaker, along with two City Council members.

The morning was filled with positive energy, networking, and a shared commitment to helping Riverside grow through leadership, collaboration, youth, community, and the arts.

That spirit means something special to us at Zacatecas Cafe.

When our founder, Oscar Medina, opened Zacatecas Cafe, he created more than a restaurant. Zacatecas became a gathering place — a place where people came to eat, connect, exchange ideas, support one another, and have a seat at the table.

In many ways, it became the community well — a place everyone could come to and drink from.

Seeing that tradition continue today is a beautiful thing. That’s the Zacatecas way. ❤️

A big thank-you to Latino Network for continuing to bring value to our community and for choosing our banquet room as the home for these monthly gatherings. Everyone is invited to the table.

Tomorrow morning, we’re proud to welcome Latino Network back to Zacatecas Cafe for their monthly community meeting. 🤎☕️

Latino Network brings together community members and local leaders to stay connected, share important updates, and continue supporting youth, education, arts, and community throughout Riverside.

This month’s special guest speaker is City of Riverside Mayor Patricia Lock Dawson.

A very special shoutout to the Capuchino Clan! ❤️

The Capuchino family has been coming to Zacatecas Café since 1982, and we’re truly grateful for their many years of love, loyalty, and support.

A heartfelt thank-you to David Capuchino for bringing the whole family together and for allowing Zacatecas Café to be part of so many beautiful family memories.

Sundays are especially meaningful here. Families join us after church, gather around the table, enjoy a delicious meal, and create memories with the people they love most.

We have plenty of room and plenty of parking—so bring the whole family!

Open Tuesday–Sunday 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

Mondays | CLOSED

We’re open for breakfast & lunch, but don’t let our daytime hours fool you — we also serve many of your favorite dinner plates throughout our regular business hours!

So whether you’re craving breakfast, lunch, or a hearty Mexican dinner plate, come hungry!

Our regular restaurant
service ends at 3:30 PM.

Banquet Room & Complete Restaurant are available for private parties and special events.

Whether it’s a birthday, quinceañera, anniversary, family gathering, business event, or another special occasion, our banquet room is available for smaller gatherings, and the restaurant for large events.
