Big news from Vines & Rushes Winery!
After months of quiet transformation behind the scenes, we're beyond thrilled to officially introduce Companön Coffee Roastery — our new companion brand now calling the Vines & Rushes barrel room home.

That's right — the same beautiful space at Vines & Rushes Winery where you've been enjoying our delicious Wisconsin wines, wood-fired pizzas, and vineyard sunsets… now houses a coffee roastery too.

We acquired Element Coffee Roaster late last year (previously located at Mugs Coffee House in Ripon and then as a standalone business) and have proudly rebranded it as Companön Coffee Roastery. We're focused purely on exceptional roasting: small-batch, carefully sourced coffees roasted right here on the farm, with the same attention to quality, terroir, and craft that defines our wines.

No full coffee shop setup (we're not trying to replace your morning drive-thru run), but you can now grab fresh drip coffee to enjoy during your tasting room visit — the perfect companion to a glass of Marquette or Catt Lady on the patio.

Think of it as the natural next chapter to an even better product lineup at Vines & Rushes.

Bags of whole bean and ground coffee will be available for you to take home when visiting the winery and you can also order online at www.companonroastery.com and we’ll ship right to you.

Companön Coffee Roastery brings the same dedication to craft and terroir that defines our companion company, the award-winning Vines & Rushes Winery.

Roasted in the winery barrel room at Vines & Rushes Winery, we purchased and reimagined the former Element Coffee Co. operation in late 2025 - now fully reborn as Companön.

We’re a roastery, not a coffee shop. Our focus is on small-batch, expertly roasted coffees that shine in your own brewer - drip, pour-over, espresso, French press, you name it. Drip coffee is available by the cup for tasting or to-go when you visit the winery, but our heart is in supplying beautiful beans to discerning drinkers who value origin, roast precision, and flavor integrity.
From single-origin gems to balanced blends, every bag reflects our belief that great coffee, like great wine, is about companionship - shared moments, thoughtful preparation, and pure enjoyment.
