❤️ A Very Special Day at Texas Cafe ❤️

Good Morning, Texas Cafe Fans!

Today is a very special day for our family. Not only does Texas Cafe turn 87 years old today, but my father, Clemente Garza Jr., celebrates his birthday today as well. What a special blessing to have these two birthdays fall on the same day!

When my grandfather Clemente Garza opened Texas Cafe back in "1939", none of us could have imagined that this little family business would make it this far. "87 years later, here we are!"

I am convinced that my Grandpa is looking down from Heaven today with a big smile on his face, enjoying this incredible moment and seeing what he started so many years ago.

As the "3rd Generation" to take charge of this special place, I want to take a moment to say "THANK YOU" to our amazing community.

For 87 years, you have welcomed us into your lives, your families, and your memories. You have supported us, encouraged us, shared our food, told your friends about us, and continued to walk through our doors generation after generation.

We have truly been blessed by your love and support for Texas Cafe.

Texas Cafe is much more than a business to our family. **It is our history, our heritage, and a part of the community we love.

To Rio Grande City, Starr County, and everyone who has been a part of our journey—THANK YOU! We could not have reached this incredible milestone without you.

Here’s to "87 years of memories, friendships, family, and community." And God willing, many more years to come!
