This holiday weekend is starting to look a little different than “normal”. No fireworks, level 2 fire restrictions, and over all concern for our area. But that doesn’t mean we can’t still celebrate as a county!! We will be open for dinner after the daytime festivities and there is free music in Hartwell Park from 6-10 pm!

ORIGINAL POST: The community response to the recent fire has been incredible, and we want to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who has reached out, volunteered, donated, or offered support to firefighters and first responders. Your generosity is deeply appreciated and is a true reflection of the strength of our community.

At this time, incident personnel have adequate food and supplies, and we are asking the public to temporarily stop bringing food donations to fire crews and staging areas. Additional donations cannot be accepted at this time.

The best way to support firefighters is to continue following fire restrictions, stay informed through official channels, and keep crews and equipment clear as they work to protect our community.

Prayers for our county and friends in Ouray. This is a devastating and scary situation.
Due to the wildfire, we are without internet and phone lines. Please know that your calls are being forwarded and we will get back with reservation confirmations! For now, there is cell service in Ridgway and you will likely receive a call from a personal cell phone.
