A dinner a decade in the making that will be remembered for decades to come.
Chef Jared Falco is teaming up with the Hoodoo Brown BBQ crew for a one-night-only, spectacular dinner so special it deserves to be on stage. The Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater is proud to announce a collaborative dinner between the two on October 3rd at 6 PM, supporting Amp Angels and Liv It Up.
Chef Jared Falco has built a career in serious kitchens, making food that always delivers on flavor, style and authenticity.
A New York native, Falco sharpened his knives in heavyweight kitchens, having a hand in many of the restaurants that helped build the culinary gravitas Fairfield County carries today.
He became a key part of the original Fortina team, later taking on culinary leadership as the group grew, and went on to lead kitchens at Washington Prime, Amore Cucina & Bar and Speedy Romeo.
Then came Bar Rosina’s in Greenwich, where Falco’s style really hit its stride and he showed the world what he could do: handmade pasta, crispy pizza, big Italian flavors, killer cocktails and polished food without the pretense. That combination helped earn Rosina’s statewide acclaim, including Connecticut Restaurant of the Year.
Falco has now set out to open the next great Connecticut restaurant, Falco, with the legendary restaurateurs behind the BJ Ryan’s family of restaurants, set to open later this fall.
The Hoodoo crew has low and slow built a nationally recognized powerhouse out of its humble Connecticut restaurant. Cody Sperry opened Hoodoo in 2015 and, with the help of Chris Sexton, Tyler Hodge and an incredible crew, built it into a barbecue destination known well beyond the state line. They tour the country cooking some of the biggest BBQ events in America while simultaneously operating one of Connecticut’s busiest restaurants right here in Ridgefield. The Hoodoo crew loves the big stage and always brings the noise when the crowd comes calling.
Jared and the Hoodoo Brown BBQ crew are far from strangers, having hosted multiple pop-up events together over the years. Both have taken pride in helping build the Connecticut food scene into what it is today.
This dinner is less a combination of the two than a culmination of the last decade for two of the best in the industry. Two pillars of the food scene coming together to elevate one another to new heights and deliver a once-in-a-lifetime meal for those lucky enough to attend.
This collaboration was inevitable—a dining room destiny—and a night that will not soon be forgotten.
Italian-American cooking meets Texas smoke. Handmade pasta meets slow-smoked prime brisket.
Two kitchens. Two visionaries. Plenty of smoke. Zero fear. Big expectations.
Join us October 3rd. Tickets will sell out, so don’t hesitate.
