The Origin of Tivoli:
Tivoli, a town of Rome Province, commands the principal natural route eastward from Rome across Italy. The site has been continuously occupied since prehistoric time. Originally an independent member of the Latin League and a rival of Rome, Tivoli early passed within the Roman orbit and attained fame and prosperity as a summer resort under the early Roman Empire. Among the many remains of wealthy Roman residences of this period in the immediate neighborhood are those of one that was subsequently acquired by the Emperor Hadrian to become the nucleus of his famous VillaTivoli is an important landmark in the history of architecture and is still among the most romantically impressive monuments surviving from antiquity. Surviving Roman monuments within the town are two well preserved temples overlooking the falls and substructures of the Great Temple of Hercules Victor. In Tivoli also is the Villa d’Este, steeply terraced down the slope alongside the medieval town, which was begun in 1550 by Pirro LiGorio for Cardinal Ippolito d’Este. Its gardens, a magnificent example of Renaissance landscape architecture, are unrivaled in the wealth and fantasy of their fountains.

We are excited to offer delicious (staff approved) gelato to our customers starting 9/29/26 from Bertolotti’s !

For next week’s lunch crowd only - anyone who orders a dine in lunch special between 11am - 4pm Tuesday - Friday - gets a complimentary scoop of gelato !

Cheese Steak Sandwich $16 (Customer Request!) - thinly sliced beef with sautéed onions and peppers and melted American cheese on our classic Italian sandwich bread. Served with Sweet Potato Fries or French Fries

Sausage & Broccoli Rabe Sandwich $15 - Sausage and Broccoli Rabe, sautéed in garlic and oil - served on toasted garlic bread.

Appetizer Sampler Combo $14 - Chicken Tenders, Onion Rings and Mozzarella Sticks (regular or spicy) combo platter.

Chicken Francese over Escarole and Beans $16 - Lunch sized portion

Johnny's Pizza (Customer Request!) $15 - For those who like sweet and savory - this pie is topped with pineapple, ham and banana. Hot Honey add on is optional.

Janine's Salad $12 - still a popular request! - available for a limited time: Fresh chicken milanese topped with arugula, red onion, fresh mozzarella and house dressing.

This is our Rigatoni Bolognese - with added burratta and hot honey - delicious !

You can add burrata on any salad, pasta or pizza for a limited time. And the hot honey can be added to enhance many of our existing dishes - this really is a great mix of sweet and heat that complements some dishes really well !

Don’t forget - for a short time you can add sweet potato fries as a side with your order as well.

Working on next round of specials soon ! We are keeping in mind requests and feedback we are getting from our customers and looking into ways that can be incorporated down the line with our specials menu.
