We understand these circumstances are not what you were expecting when you planned your wedding day. This situation is not ideal for anyone. We & I’m sure many of your vendors want to work with you as best we can to make it all happen. .....
Here are a couple of key things we need from you. .....
1. Communication: before you rebook a random date for your event, please reach out to your vendors. Give them the options available to you so that we can work together to confirm a new date. It may not be a date that you “want” but one that saves your investment. .....
2. Flexibility: we understand Saturdays are ideal wedding days. However in order to get affected couples rescheduled, we have to work around other events we already have. This may eliminate Saturdays as an option. Consider a Friday or Sunday. We even regularly have Thursday weddings and have even had a few Mondays in the past. .....
3. Understanding: Consider how difficult it is for your vendors to provide refunds when they have no income coming in due to cancelled and postponed events. Please know that “non refundable retainers” are never really thought to be refunded. They are not sitting in an account waiting for your event date. Instead, businesses use these retainers for cost of doing business. It is these retainers that get them between events taking care of expenses. (I know this isn’t what you want to hear) As much as vendors would love to refund anyone going through this time; it literally could lead to a once healthy business going bankrupt, or worse, personal financial ruin. Their best option is to move forward to provide you with the services. .....
Let’s all work together to get through this. We will reschedule anyone with no rebooking fees; however to contain this financial crisis we have to have a deadline of end of 2020. To roll couples into next year will only extend financial hardships. Please consider any and all dates available to you from your venue. Protect as much of your investment with as many of your vendors as possible. .....
We will get through this together & provide you all with the services you have been looking forward to. In the meantime, please stay safe & healthy.

We have no intentions to back out of anyone’s event. Potential effects could be a smaller number of staff but non the less, you will have your food and servers for your day as agreed. ......
The only possible change we could foresee is groceries. With all the hysteria of people shopping, an ingredient might become unavailable. If this should occur, we will present our clients with an alternative and make the changes at no charge to you. ......
