💗 A Little Business Update 💗
After a lot of thought, I’ve decided that I will no longer be regularly setting out my cake pop cart.
This has honestly been such a wonderful experience, and I’ve had SO much fun with it. Getting to meet new people, see familiar faces, create fun flavors, and watch this little idea come to life has meant more to me than I can put into words. 🥹💕
But I also have to be honest about what is sustainable for me and my family. Between preparing bulk batches, custom orders, endless spam messages, following up on inquiries, and everything behind the scenes, the time and energy I’ve put into baking simply hasn’t been reflected in the profits. With the market becoming increasingly saturated, I just don’t see the cart being sustainable in its current form.
And honestly, the hardest part is that I’ve started to dread stepping into my kitchen to bake. That’s something I don’t want to let happen.
Baking started as something I genuinely loved — my creative outlet and something that brought me so much joy. I don’t want to push myself to the point where I lose that love just trying to make this little business work.
So, I’m choosing to step back. ❤️
I want baking to feel fun again, instead of something I’m constantly trying to keep up with between my full-time job, family, and everything else life brings. I want to spend more time with my family, enjoy the things that matter most, and make room for some of the other ideas and aspirations I have for the future.
That does NOT mean Nidhi’s Sweet Shoppe is closing! 🧁💕 I’ll still be accepting a limited number of custom orders, so please do not hesitate to reach out. I may also occasionally set out the cart when my schedule allows — so if you see it pop up every now and then, you’ll know it’s a special treat! 🥰
Thank you to everyone who stopped by my cart, bought a cake pop, shared a post, told a friend, placed an order, or simply cheered me on. Your support has meant more than you know. 💕
This may be the end of the regular cake pop cart chapter, but it’s not the end of Nidhi’s Sweet Shoppe. 👀💗
I have some new things in the works that I’m hoping to announce soon, and I’m so excited to see where those ideas take me!
