TWO YEARS OF OVERFLOW. 🤍
Two years ago, we opened the doors to a little coffee shop in Richmond, Michigan. We had a dream, a whole lot of faith, and absolutely no idea what God had planned for this space.
And somehow, two years later, I find myself looking at these pictures and struggling to put into words what this place has become.
Because the truth is, it was never really about the coffee.
It was about the conversations that turned strangers into friends. The friendships that became family. The laughter, tears, prayers, worship, and countless moments no one could have planned.
It’s about the people who have found community here, celebrated milestones here, met Jesus here, and found a place where they could simply belong.
It’s about a God who took a small, seemingly impossible dream and made something far bigger than we could have imagined.
Today, I see so much more than a coffee shop. I see answered prayers. Obedience. Community. Lives intertwining in ways only God could orchestrate.
To everyone who has walked through these doors, supported us, volunteered, served, prayed, and poured into this place — thank you. You are part of this story.
And to my husband, thank you for believing in this dream alongside me, even when we couldn’t see what was ahead.
I prayed for a place where people could encounter God, find community, and experience His love in the ordinary moments of life.
I didn’t know exactly what that would look like. But looking at these faces and memories, I think I’m beginning to understand.
Overflow was never something we were simply meant to build. It was something we were called to steward.
Here’s to two years of stories, people, purpose, and His faithfulness. And here’s to whatever He has next.
With all my heart, thank you for being part of our story.
We are Overflow. And you are what makes it overflow. 🤍
