The 1stBloom&Glow is a celebration of the first blooms of the season and is a major fundraiser for the Richmond Rose Garden.
The event will start with a dinner in the Garden at 6:30pm. There will be food provided by 6 local caterers. Dinner tickets cost $40 and must be purchased ahead of time at the Wayne County Tourism Bureau, Wayne County Foundation, or from a committee member. Please purchase tickets early as we are expecting it to sell out.

Seara's Legacy K9 Trials & 140 Challenge is on Saturday May 16, 2026. It includes the following events: The 140 Challenge- 5K & Fitness Challenge, 5K ONLY (Walk/Run), *Virtual* 5K, K9 Trials (K9 Officers ONLY), and Challenge & Trials (K9 Officers ONLY).

It’s Celebration in the Ville Week! 🌼

Downtown Connersville is getting ready for one of their favorite weekends of the year, and we can’t wait to be a part of it! From shopping and food to music, activities, and reconnecting with friends, there’s something special about seeing downtown full of life.

Here’s what you can expect on May 16, 2026 at the Wayne County Fairgrounds.

🔹The 140 Challenge
Participants can complete the 5K or take on the full fitness challenge following the run. The workout includes 4 bodyweight exercises and 140 reps of each movement in honor of Officer Seara Burton’s badge number.
🔶Seara’s Legacy K9 Trials
Watch police K9 teams compete in multiple events including open area search, vehicle search, obedience obstacle course, and the crowd favorite
“Hard Dog / Fast Dog.”
This event is about more than competition. It’s about community, honoring Officer Burton, and supporting K9 programs and scholarships.
Join us for an incredible day.
