Whooboy! This was not an easy decision to make, but we promised ourselves if we bounced back post pandemic we would take some time off and just...live. Thanks to all you fabulous people--staff and regulars and vendors and neighbors. We are very lucky to have lived this dream for so many years. See you on the other side! (And make those reservations soon!)

Seafood Pasta, Squid Ink, Garlic Parsley Butter, Shaved Bottarga; Mushroom Paella, Smoked Leeks, Peppadew Peppers, Sofrito, Paprika Vinaigrette (v, gf, df); Seared Duck Breast, Fennel Salad, Chervil, Stone Fruit Preserves (gf); Alpine Cheese Fondue, House Pretzel, Broccoli (v).

We are thrilled to welcome back our dear friend Sara Adduci aka for a fabulous virtual class Sunday, 3/27/22 at 6pm via zoom. Together we will taste wine and cheese made by women and learn about some incredible, pioneering ladies. Tickets include 4 wines, 4 cheeses, maps, and tasting notes and can be purchased in our online shop: https://app.upserve.com/s/secco-wine-bar-richmond

Class kits can be picked up at Secco on Saturday, 3/26/22 4:30-9pm.

Just in time for this perfect patio weather we have a new on the board today: Vadiaperti Greco di Tufo! This indigenous white variety hails from high elevations (1200-2000ft) in the coastal region of northern Camapania in southern Italy.

Organic old vines (25-50) thrive in craggly, porous volcanic rock and produce delightful wines. This Greco is hand harvested, whole cluster pressed, fermented on indigenous yeasts in stainless steel. It yields a pairing-friendly crisp white with notes of honey, mint, citrus, and sea-salty breezes.

Pair with Chef Mezze, Risotto, and Caldo Verde Seafood Stew.
