Every year we take time during the holiday season to gather our crew to celebrate and say thanks for all the hard work they've accomplished over the year. Last week our team got together to enjoy a delicious breakfast catered by Baker's Crust Artisan Kitchen and share in some holiday cheer with goodie bags for the employeesā children and raffle tickets for some awesome restaurant gift cards! We couldnāt be more grateful for all of the effort our team has put in this year to make 2021 our best year yet, and we canāt wait to do it again next year!

Today our fellow franchise owners gathered in our training center for the quarterly regional area meeting. Happy Sunday afternoon.. My sister and I were pondering where to go for brunch after our morning worship meeting, so we decided to visit Bakers Crust in Cary town. I wanted something with Crab and my sister wanted beef. When we arrived the parking lot was full, which was a good sign. After parking, we went in and had about a 15 minute wait. When we were seated, my granddaughter Kory came over and talked to us and then our server Adam took our orders.
We had appetizers of prosciutto and goat cheese bruchetta and fried Calamari. I also had the crab and shrimp egg frittata with hash browns and a lettuce salad with goat cheese and my sister had the What-a-burger platter with fries. After 2 orange juice mimosas, I was ready for my brunch. The frittata was cooked just right with lots of lump crab meat and medium tiger shrimp along with the fire roasted tomatoes. The homemade hollandaise sauce had the right amount of butter to lemon equation, (even though I had to get extra lemon for my taste).
My sister said her burger was very tasty and we'll seasoned ( although next time she'll get it cooked medium). Our server had an effervescent personality and was patient and very knowledgeable of the menu and the service was great. I give my dining experience today forks up.
