So here’s the update on my wrist! If you’re not interested, just keep on scrolling. 😀
Saw the surgeon today at Reid and he suggested that I have surgery only if I wanted to. I chose to have surgery. It’ll be done on Thursday. If I don’t have surgery, the healing process will be longer and I likely won’t get full range of my wrist movement again. Also, there could be more pain associated with that later. Surgery will put in a plate, but will still give me full mobility on my wrist and also give me a quicker healing time. I’m all for that. I also got the splint/cast off today and I’m now in just a wrist brace. Let me tell you I don’t know how much longer I could’ve stood that splint/cast. It was terrible. My claustrophobia definitely was in full blown claustrophobia.  I can move my fingers and I’m able to grasp a few things now thank goodness.

Some good news! Appt today at 2:30 with ortho!

In case you’re wondering, I’m still waiting to get into ortho to have my wrist checked out. It is broken in two places, and I have a temporary splint on currently which is absolutely driving me crazy. I cannot do much of anything right now either because it’s hard to do anything one-handed. I’m anxious to find out how long I’ll have this cast or splint and when I can get back to making lattes!

☕💙 **Well, this wasn't exactly on my schedule!** 🤦‍♀️

I spent my evening in the ER after taking a tumble. Unfortunately, the floor won this round! 😬 Turns out, I have a broken wrist.

So, with that being said, **the Blue Brew will be out of commission for a while** as I take some time to heal. It's a little hard to pull espresso shots and make your favorite lattes with a broken wrist!

I'm certainly going to miss seeing all of you, especially my Richmond Farmers Market friends. You know how much I love visiting with everyone and making your favorite drinks!

I'm not sure yet how long I'll be sidelined, but I'll keep you updated.

Thank you all for your continued love and support. Hopefully, it won't be too long before I'm back behind the espresso machine, doing what I love! ☕💙
