To all of our loyal customers,
We’d like to inform you, as of Monday May 2nd we will be closing on MONDAYS. We’ve been short staffed and the best day for us was to close on Mondays to allow our hardworking employees have a day of rest. Not something we wanted to do but were forced to do. We apologize for any inconvenience this may bring. We will keep you posted on if this will be a permanent or temporary decision, time will tell. Please share this post to help us let everyone be aware of this change to our hours.

Dear Patrons,
These past few months have been extremely hard especially for the restaurant industries all over. We’ve never experienced the shortness of staff and the constant call outs until this pandemic hit. Things are not the same and unfortunately they won’t be the same for a while. With that said, please respect our staff that does want to work and be here it’s not their fault or managements fault. The wait is longer than usual the food will take longer than usual. So please be nice to us all as our stress level is higher than usual. We try our best to serve our community so please be patient and please tip your servers accordingly and remember they are here to serve you for your full service experience. Take out is always an option, the food tastes just as good. We hope everyone has an amazing Mother’s Day weekend!!

Normally do not get on social media to rant, but after today's experience I had to.
We went to your establishment today for lunch. We have been here in the past and have really enjoyed the food and customer service today however it went totally wrong!
My wife ordered a veal entree which was made with a wine sauce and cappers. After receiving her plate it looked horrible but she decided to try it anyways. After the first bite she could tell CLEARLY something was wrong as it tasted exactly like vinegar! Our only assumption is that the wine sauce used had went bad.
We waited some time before our waitress came to check in when we notified her of the issue and her response was *I'm sorry, I will tell the kitchen so they know for future*.
That was it, no offer for a different entree or any form of compensation for our bill... Nothing. Needless to say this is really disappointing considering her dish was about $18. We have always loved coming here and have enjoyed our experience prior to this one, however the fact out issue was not acknowledged and corrected by someone really turns us off from coming again.
I understand things cannot always be perfect especially in these times, but a little customer service goes a long way.

So thankful for Mr. & Mrs. Sanzone at Carini’s Italian Restaurant for helping to feed the nursing staff in the PSU Department at MCV Hospital today. My Aunt Dionne Thompson Bridgeforth and her co-workers were so appreciative.
I personally would like to thank you on behalf of Bruce and Carol Cornell for doing such a great job with patience, service and being so helpful on Bruce's surprise Party. It was a great touch with Santa and Mrs. Clause also!!
